Having begun his acting career in front of a
live audience, Chad Brannon enjoys getting back to the stage
anytime he can. The immediate feedback from an audience and
the energy of a live production are things he has enjoyed
since his days performing in local theatrical efforts in his
native Texas.
When an opportunity came up for Chad to perform
with the Knightsbridge Theatre company in a production of
"Cyrano de Bergerac" he jumped at it! As the handsome,
yet simple, "Christian" Chad showed he could make
audiences not only swoon, but laugh and cry as well.
"Chad and I are kindred spirits in our work.
We both draw upon our well of experiences. He's extremely
honest in his talk and his work. It's hard to believe he's
only 21 because you can see what an old soul he is."

A few months later, in the fall of 2001, the chance to do
more theater...this time a musical, came Chad's way and he
was cast as the Courier in a UCLA production of "1776"
which co-starred Roger Reese, Thomas Ian Griffith, Kevin Earley
and Mark Ryan among others.

"I was excited about doing it because
it’s a really great show. I don't usually do musical
theater, but my agent kept encouraging me to go for it."

The production was particularly poignant for
all those involved because the September 11th attack on NY,
PA, and Washington D.C. occurred during the production's run.
"This is a time that we really have
to realize what's important and who's important . . . Petty
things need to go away . . . It's a time that we also need
to trust God and pray for unity and peace . . . place our
energy into prayers instead of into hatred."
