While most young actors would consider being a contract player on one of today's most widely known and respected daytime dramas reason to sit on their laurels, nothing could be further from the truth in Chad Brannon's case.

Not content to limit himself creatively, Chad has made an effort not only to hone his acting skills with acting classes and stage work but has also begun exploring performance on other levels. Over the last two years, Chad has joined former cast-mates Jaime Ray Newman and Jacob Young on more than one occasion at local LA night spots to perform with their bands, and has found the experience both refreshing and invigorating. Performing music in front of a live audience not only allows Chad a departure from the day to day grind of filming an hour long drama, but it also allows him to return to something he has loved and enjoyed since he was a teenager performing with his step-father's group, The Cool Water Band back in Tomball, Texas.

And as if this busy young man didn't have enough to keep him occupied, he decided that he wanted to explore his interest in the intricacies of what goes on behind the camera and at the age of 23 Chad formed his own production company, Wingspan Productions.

With his drive and eagerness to excel at everything he undertakes Chad Brannon is sure to be a name you are hearing for a long time to come, be it behind the camera or in front of it.
